  • 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

SOLD OUT

Join us as we celebrate summer and women’s leadership with a wine and cheese reception, networking, and raffle drawings. Also, hear Leah Weiss, PhD, talk about “Compassion at Every Level”.

Cultivating compassion within a company can be taught and learned at any level. 70% of Americans believe that incivility has reached crisis proportion with workplace rudeness steadily climbing. Rates of rudeness in the workplace jumped from 55% in 2011 to 62% in 2016. Rudeness isn’t just unpleasant, it also costs companies nearly $300 billion annually in lost productivity, absenteeism, turnover, and increased medical costs. The environment that we create in the workplace can have tremendous power! Just by teaching and incorporating compassion into workplace culture, we can change toxic environments and build cooperative teams that result in increased productivity and efficiency. Learn about the neuroscience and physiology of compassion, and the fixes you can make at the individual, team, and system-wide levels to increase your capacity for compassion.

  • Find actionable ways to find compassion for yourself and for those around you
  • Discover steps you can take to cultivate healthy workplace environments
  • Learn how self-compassion can help build resilience when faced with almost any workplace issue
  • Hear the latest research on the physiology of compassion and how it can heal toxic cultures
