Define Your Brand to Achieve the Future You Desire

The key reason that many women shy away from personal branding is the fear that they will be perceived as bragging, and will end up turning people off.

Every single day, you are presented with opportunities to shape the way people view you, and the question is: Are you taking advantage of them?

In this webcast, Dorie Clark – a consultant, former presidential campaign spokesperson, and author of Reinventing You – will discuss the unique personal branding issues faced by women, and how female executives can cultivate their reputation as leaders.

    What You Will Learn

Joins us as Dorie explains how to:

    • Identify the essence of your leadership brand
    • Overcome the “likeability conundrum” that researchers have identified
    • Enhance your executive presence
    • Communicate with authority and authenticity
    • Become known and respected in your field

While attending this program is FREE, reservations are required.

Women as Assertive Leaders of Healthy Conflict

    WLC Member: FREE
    Non-Member: $199

Women leaders handling conflict is too often a “hot button” when we look at subtle, and sometimes not so subtle, gender bias. Words that get attached to women addressing conflict include: aggressive, emotional, too nice, cat-fight, pushover, etc. By using the tools of assertive thinking and behavior, collaboration, and a healthy conflict mindset, effective leading does not have to be seen through the lenses of male or female – it just needs to be viewed as effective.

    Key takeaways:

    • Identifying and addressing gender based split views of assertive behavior
    • Knowing what a healthy conflict mindset brings to team and organizational success
    • Considering collaborative competition as a new approach to achieving healthy conflict
    • Transitioning away from conflict avoidance and/or accommodation to assertive collaborative actions
